Discovery Day

Discovery Day | 1st Dec
Melbourne’s Precincts in Action

Monday 1 December 2025 | Pre-Conference Site Tours

Kick off your National Health & Innovation Precincts Summit experience with an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at Melbourne’s leading health and innovation ecosystems.

For 2025, we’re proud to partner with Melbourne Connect as our first Precinct Partner, alongside visits to other key precincts (Monash Technology Precinct & RMIT Precinct) across the city.

This year’s Discovery Day will shine a spotlight on Melbourne’s precinct story – a powerful narrative of collaboration, cutting-edge research, and translation that is transforming lives through healthcare innovation, new knowledge, and next-generation technologies.

These curated tours provide delegates with the rare opportunity to explore precincts in action and understand how place-based innovation is being embedded across infrastructure, education, research, and commercialisation.

The tour concludes with a visit to the Jumar Bioincubator, a state-of-the-art facility that will also serve as the venue for the Welcome Reception, proudly hosted by Cicada Innovations. As Australia’s first biotech incubator in a world-class setting, Jumar showcases Cicada’s expertise in innovation. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect over drinks and network before the conference officially kicks off.

💡 Stay tuned for further details on the locations we’ll visit, the leaders you’ll hear from, and the innovations being unlocked across these dynamic spaces.

Spaces are limited, so don’t miss your chance to be part of this unique, pre-conference experience that connects you directly with the future of precinct development in Australia’s most progressive innovation city.

Access to the site tours is included in your delegate pass, please indicate in your registration process if you are attending to save your spot!

2024 Precinct Partner Testimonial – Gold Coast Health & Knowledge Precinct

“It was a tremendous privilege to host the 2024 National Health and Innovation Precinct Summit on the Gold Coast. I was so thrilled so many delegates travelled to the Gold Coast to see our Precinct and learn from a tremendous line-up of highly experienced speakers from across Australia and overseas. Attending this conference is a highlight for me each year and Informa Connect must be acknowledged for their professionalism in how they deliver this event. I already have new business opportunities being progressed from discussions solely generated by the conference and the conference gave me the opportunity to connect with existing and new colleagues which I really enjoyed”.
